Hungerford Hill is a family-owned award winner winery in the Hunter Valley, crafting distinguished regional wines with over 50 years of history. Led by Winemaker Bryan Currie, the team produces authentic wines with character and interest.
At Hungerford Hill, we’re proud of our heritage as one of Australia’s most distinguished wine producers. Our story is
rooted in the birthplace of Australian wine, with original vines sourced from the country’s fi rst cuttings.
Today, Hungerford Hill encompasses three unique estates — Hungerford Hill, Dalwood Estate, and Sweetwater Ridge, each
contributing to our reputation for wines of character and regional expression.
Under the guidance of Bryan Currie, our highly acclaimed and award-winning winemaker, we focus on premium wines from
the Hunter Valley and NSW’s cool-climate regions, including Hilltops and Tumbarumba. Since Sam Arnaout acquired the
winery in 2016, we’ve deepened our commitment to the Hunter Valley, including the acquisition of the iconic Dalwood
and Sweetwater vineyards. From 2019 onwards, all of our wines, with the exception of
our fortifieds, are proudly vegan.
